Join us for a fun and engaging program to learn about wild turkeys while playing a fun game!

The day's activities will focus on fall themes, and we will be engaging the students in several fun and educational activities, including:

• Finding and identifying leaves: The students will collect different types of leaves, learn to identify them, and trace them.

• Painting in fall colors: We'll use the traced leaves to create beautiful fall-themed artwork.

• Scavenger hunt: We'll lead the children on a fall-themed scavenger hunt throughout the park.

• Educational discussions: During the activities, we will discuss why leaves change colors and how animals prepare for winter.

Join the SPMN Chapter at the Posseclay Interpretive Shelter in Occoneechee State Park for a fun evening around the fire ring with s'mores and other yummy treats. Family and spouses are welcome to join.
