Taylor holds a B.S. in Animal Science and an M.S. in Crop and Soil Environmental Science from VPI&SU. Since 1996, he has been employed by Virginia Cooperative Extension as an Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR), where he leads educational programs focused on agriculture in Mecklenburg County and tobacco production in both Mecklenburg and Brunswick Counties. Taylor also serves as the Unit Coordinator for the Mecklenburg Office.
