Michele Jones is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapen Hill with a degree in Cell Biology. She worked in Quality Assurance for various pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for over 40 years. Her experience in leading the Quality

Assurance and Compliance Departments included creating and managing departmental budgets. She currently manages the budget for the Biopharma Consulting business she and her husband, Bill, co- own. This budget experience provides the background needed for her role as Treasurer of the Southern Piedmont Master Naturalist (SPMN) Chapter.

Michele is a 2024 certified SPMN and a member of the Friends of Occoneechee. She enjoys hiking, dancing, and traveling, particularly to the Virginia State Parks.
